JAMESTOWN AUTHOR TO SIGN YOUNG ADULT FICTION
Carol Newman Cronin will sign copies of her first published book, Oliver’s Surprise, on Friday, September 19 from 5-7 pm at Conanicut Marine Services’ chandlery. Publisher Patricia A O’Hare from GemmaMedia will be present, and refreshments suitable for all ages will be served. The event coincides with the 1938 hurricane’s 70th anniversary.
There will be a short presentation about the creation of the story, which sets a twelve year old boy, a schooner, and a hurricane against the backdrop of 1938 Jamestown. Join us for a fun evening! Copies of Oliver’s Surprise are available at Conanicut Marine Services and at Baker’s Pharmacy.
